Mid-terrace extension and remodel in Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan. Our clients and their young family adopted the ‘Don’t move, improve’ approach with their mid-terrace dwelling, originally built in the 1950’s. The back of the house is facing the Woodford Canal, glimpses of passing cruisers can be caught from the new split-level kitchen/dining area, also the new attic bedroom.

The distinct black brickwork extension is in response to the house context viewed from the opposite bank of the canal also to the client’s request for something a ‘little less ordinary’.
