Our task was to design a Classic styled dwelling for a young family to cater for the occupants’ lifelong requirements. Set on a sloping site, the house utilises a limited but high-quality material palette, classic design strategies of symmetry, proportion and design elements such as the (James) Gibbs portico and stone detailing to achieve the desired aesthetic. The classic detailing is carried through in the interiors with bespoke joinery, panelling, shutter boxes, stairs, cabinetry and kitchen all featuring in high end Décor publications. The house and siteworks are complimented with a Landscape design and installation package by Brackley Landscaping.
