Cabu by The Lakes is a holiday retreat within the woods of Killykeen Forest Park, on the shores of Lough Oughter, Co. Cavan. The project entailed the upgrade and adaptive reuse of existing forest chalet complex and amenity buildings originally developed by Coillte Teoranta in the 1980’s and 1990’s. The complex had not been in use since 1999 and our clients have carried out an extensive upgrade to the complex, in their own distinctive Cabu style. The holiday complex reopened in August 2020 to public acclaim and is one of the good news stories of 2020 within this region.
